The Oscars were a big deal back then, I'm talking 40+ million viewers. After this performance, she became unstoppable. It was movie after movie, hit after hit. You could no longer ignore her talent. There was something so captivating and charming about her. I gotta admit Barry Hankerson did his big one! He used to have her BOOKED ok?! The Oscars as your first major TV award show performance? And your song is nominated? GAG!!!!!!
